FRIENDS CUT.

I want to be super close with you all, but my friends list was big; so I decided to cut:
a. ones who've been on my flist for a good amount of time that i still don't really know.
b. people who i've lost contact with.
c. ones who's entries i keep finding myself skipping over.
d. people who have seemed to disappeared off the face of the earth(!!!)
e. personal/emo journals (note: please to be keeping me added to these. i still want to read them, i just don't want them cluttering up my flist when they aren't used much)
f. ones who my friend told me didn't change their underwear. :'|

Reasons to love Watchmen: Men in tights and deep thoughts.

Today I went to see Watchmen because Grandma (who works at the movie theater; such an A+ job) is amazing and got me in on Employee Screening. To anyone who doesn't know about the whole 'behind-the-scenes movie theater gig', the theaters need to go through the whole reel of a movie to make sure there is no glitches (especially for huge releases). So they let the employees stay late and watch it; it's about the only perk of the job. It is, however, a wonderful perk for moi because I got in on the action. 8)

Good god it was good. I am like speechless. Zack Snyder has been saying that the film is meant to build onto the book and make you want to go back and reread it all again. And oh boy do I (this is really saying something since I reread the whole thing earlier this week). I feel that it was wonderfully good to the book; Jackie Haley and Patrick Wilson (as Rorschach and Night Owl, respectively) were the embodiment of the characters. *A* The details they put into this movie is so a great throwback to all of us fans. JDM is the Comedian to me now lmfao. If he gets any more cameos as Papa Winchester I'm going to have a hard time separating the two.

As a fan of this series from way back when, I 100% recommend this movie to everyone. Everyone. All of you go see it now. 8( And if you haven't read the comic go and read that too. I'm going to see it again on Friday so I hope to see you all there. (.....in spirit.)

Be sure to pick up your Watchmen condoms; seeing Night Owl only able to get it up after beating someone up (gay) and Dr. Manhattan's creepy sex and walking around naked all the time (mega gay) might put you in the mood to get some use out of them.
